The trip from Khao Lak to Koh Lanta was a small challenge for our nerves. We booked our
joint ticket (minivan & ferry) for 650 baht at a travel agency on Khao Lak. It didn't really
matter which one you chose because all of them had the same prices. We were picked up at
7.30 am from our hotel. Afterwards we drove to a junction where we had to wait for 10min
and afterwards continued the trip with the same bus. Then we had to change buses again at
the Krabi bus station and began slowly to wonder if we will catch the ferry on time. However
in the end we didn't use the touristic ferry but the car ferry for the locals. After finally a
arriving in Koh Lanta (around 2pm)we were dropped in the middle of nowhere because the
driver decided that our resort is too war away. That meant that we had to pay another
200baht for a Tuk Tuk taxi to bring us to our resort .
