Brandon Hotel - Surat Thani, Thailand

When we arrived in Surat Thani and only wanted to stay over night, we didn't really care what kind of hotel we got as long as it was cheap. Our first choice was the Bandon Hotel (268/2 Namaung Rd., 077272167) because it was mentioned in our travel guide with the promise of having a good price - quality ratio.
 It is located quiet near to the peer (where the boats depart to Koh samui, Koh Pan Ngan and Ko Tao) with its night market. The price-quality ratio proved itself true when we booked a room with fan for 300baht per night (ca. 7.50€).
The room was spacious, basic and fortunately enough the fan was strong enough to keep me cool during the night. However, we only had cold water and the mattress of the bed was hard as stone. So the night wasn't that comfortable but for that price it was still worth it.

Da wir in Surat Thani nur eine Nacht bleiben wollten, war es uns wirklich egal wie das Hotel ist Hauptsache es war billig. Unsere erste Wahl fiel auf das Bandon Hotel (268/2 Namaung Rd, 077272167), da es in unserem Reiseführer mit der Bemerkung genannt wurde ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zu haben.
Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe vom Steg von welchem die Boote nach Koh Samui, Koh Pan Ngan und Ko Tao fahren. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis erwies sich als war, nachsem wir ein Zimmer mit Ventilator für 300baht pro Nacht (ca. 7,50 €) buchten.
Das Zimmer war geräumig, einfach und zum Glück genug war der Ventilator stark genug um mich in der Nacht zu kühlen. Allerdings hatten wir nur kaltes Wasser und die Matratze des Bettes war hart wie Stein. Was eine nicht so arg gemütliche Nacht bedeutete, aber bei so einem Preis beschwert man sich ja nicht.
