Because we only wanted to stay in Jakarta overnight we decided to try out the Tune Hotel
Pasar Baru for
19€ per night (we booked through Agoda.com). The Tune Hotels are a hotel chain
throughout Indonesia. Their strategy is to provide cheap rooms but with the necessity to purchase all kinds of add ons: you want a towel you have to pay extra, air con = extra, wifi = extra. However, through Agoda.com that is not necessary and everything is included for quiet a cheap price.
Our room was a bit small, but clean, with hot water, A/C, a
comfortable (big) bed and a great Wifi reception. So no complaints at all.
