To get from Jakarta to Bandung it is necessary to get to the Gambir train station. Because
we didn't want to walk we took a taxi for 25k IDR (ca. 1,70€),pay attention that sometimes you
have to pay additional 3k IDR parking fee. You can purchase a ticket at the yellow ticket counter
(first class 90k IDR, second class 65k IDR). We got the second class and it was fine. The seats are
more or less comfortable and the train has air con. It took us ca 3.5h to get to Bandung
(train left at 1.15pm arrived at 4.30pm).
