Because we planned to stay in Malang for only 2 nights we were concentrating to find something cheap. Because Splendid Inn was recommended in our travel guide and on Tripadvisor.com we decided to just go with it for
13€ through Agoda.com.
Splendid Inn is perfectly located at the main round-about and is central to everything.
The room as the bathroom where big and clean, but unfortunately we had twin beds so we had to push together which in the end was a bit uncomfortable. However, we were happy to have air con and hot water, but if you wanted wanted to take shower it was necessary to tell the reception to switch on the heater, which was a bit annoying.
The staff was really polite and attentive and even suggested to replace our breakfast with sandwich packages due to our Bromo trip, which was a really nice gesture.
Wi-Fi was also provided but only worked in the reception area.
Overall it was a great accommodation for Malang due to its location and its price.
